Natalie and John's Wedding: San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts and Marines' Memorial Hotel

Remember Natalie and John? Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding at the Marines' Memorial Hotel and the Palace of Fine Arts.

We planned on taking some photos at the Palace of Fine Arts before the ceremony, for great natural light. Natalie planned everything herself: bridesmaids and groomsmen arrived separately and we all got together for some wedding party group shots after Natalie and John had time for themselves alone.

The talented Genevieve Shiffrar acted as 2nd shooter on this wedding, making it possible to juggle two locations and over 150 guests. Back at the hotel, everybody prepared for the ceremony.

Natalie's mom looked beautiful by the window and I couldn't resist taking this portrait. It's one of my favorite photos from the day!

The Marines' Memorial Hotel is a great downtown location for weddings near Union Square. They have different options as far as rooms for the bridal party, out of town guests, reception and dinner. I tried here to capture the look and feel of Natalie and John's  dining room, full of colors and wonderful flowers by Floramor.

Right after their grand entrance, Natalie and John went right into the first dance. So romantic!

It was hard to choose the images for this blog post. I hope this gives you an idea of what a magical day I had the pleasure to photograph. Congratulations again, Nat and John!
