Picture of the Week: Renee and Sean's Wedding

Here's one photo from the latest wedding with the Locally Grown Weddings team.

The rest of the images will be ready in 6 weeks, but I couldn't wait to share this one image. Renee and Sean chose Campovida as the setting for their wedding. The place is stunning and I can't wait to share more photos later in the year.

Leah and Justin's Engagement

Can't wait for Leah and Justin's wedding in beautiful Napa this Saturday!



When I met Justin, he was recovering from a motorcycle accident and couldn't even walk. Lucky for him, Leah is a physical therapist and helped him get better. She was amazing, taking care of Justin and planning their wedding.



Leah and I hit it off immediately: she is fun, creative, engaging and passionate about life.

 



 

I love taking pictures of details, such as rings. Justin and Leah helped with ideas and it became another way for us to collaborate.



 

 We waited until Justin could walk again to schedule our engagement photo session together...what a difference in just a few months!









And of course we ended up having a lot of fun!





I can't wait to see them both in just a few days...

Wedding Invitations from Lavender Ink

I love Brooke and Marissa's joint venture, Lavender Ink!
I am working with them on the design of my new logo (coming soon, I am so excited!).

I am also their photographer of choice to capture the details of their wedding invitations. All the images will then become part of their new website. This is the first of my shoots, I will keep posting new pictures as I take them.

 

Can't wait for our next shoot together!

Noah and Tiph

I had the pleasure to photograph Noah and Tiph's wedding last May. WOW!

Here's what Tiph wrote about her wedding: "I know it's more than cliche to say this but our wedding day was the happiest day of my life. I had all of the people that I love in the same place all supporting Noah's and my decision to marry. What made it so wonderful was that every single person there had such an important role in the wedding. We could not have done it without the people that love us. We both have smaller families and I think we both felt that when we got married our family grew so big. It was the best moment and I'll always carry that with me."

Noah and Tiph didn't just add something personal to the celebrations, everything was personal and close to their hearts. 

They got married at their new home and transformed the living room into the ceremony site, with the help of their closest friends.

Everybody wrote a story about their relationship with Tiph and Noah and all the stories were posted on this wall.

I loved the flowers in her hair, what a romantic touch.

So here it is, my first Buddhist ceremony. My boyfriend Will, who is Noah's best friend, officiated the wedding.

The ceremony was very beautiful and everybody cried.

As you all know by now, my favorite part is taking pictures with the couple. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.

And on our way back Tiph suggested a picture near a wall. We found this place around the corner and photogrpahed away. Thank you, whoever you are, for painting your house such a bright color!
